📚 A Wonderful Visit to Bromley House Library! 📚

On Wednesday 28th January, Carlton Rotary and friends had the pleasure of visiting the historic Bromley House Library in Nottingham. What a fantastic experience it was!

We were captivated by the library’s rich heritage — founded over 200 years ago in 1816 and housed in a beautiful Grade II* listed Georgian building in the heart of the city. Wandering through its elegant reading rooms, discovering its fascinating collection of over 50,000 books, and learning about its unique history truly made for a memorable visit.

A special highlight was seeing the stunning spiral staircase and hearing about the library’s place in Nottingham’s heritage. Our group also enjoyed the welcoming, tranquil atmosphere and the sense of community that the library fosters.

Thank you to the team at Bromley House for hosting us — it was an inspiring and enjoyable evening! We highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone with a love of books, history, and beautiful spaces.
